Brasília, the capital of Brazil, is a planned city. Inaugurated in 1960 in the Central Highlands of Brazil, it is a masterpiece of modernist architecture. Brasilia is also an important transportation hub for travel within Brazil and a great place to visit.

Brasilia covers an area of 2204 sq. miles (5802 square Km) and is estimated to have a population of 2.5 million people being the capital of Brazil and the seat of the federal government. Brasília is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

IntervaloCustomers return week after week to savor the specials at this small, elegant restaurant. On Sunday the star attraction is lombo Vila Rica, a hearty dish of grilled pork tenderloin, accompanied by the traditional feijão tropeiro bean dish from Minas Gerais.

The Tuesday special is Assado d’el Rey, a delicious roast beef marinated in red wine and garlic for up to 40 hours before it is slowly cooked. The menu also offers a range of other choices, such as grilled fish with almonds and butter sauce or trout in a green-grape sauce.
